Automated quality control

and interconnection

NovaTerra has experience in various projects involving

automated quality control and interconnection of differing equipment.

- fill weight count and check

  - packing quality

    - optical reflection and transmission

      - mechanical dimension

In the latest project an automated measuring station for dash board glass was realized. The implementation involved both mechanical (X, Y and Z axis) and optical (Minolta spectrophotometer)  measurements and statistics control. Between 1'000 and 2'000 parts a day are measured with this system.

NovaTerra has implemented various projects with different equipment, that needed to be linked together to work as a whole.

Experience with a variation of point-to-point connections and local networks together with innovative integrations have produced many tailor-made solutions for demanding customers.

Another Project involves optical testing of recycled PET bottles for qualification into "food" or "non-food" material. The samples are checked for colour, transparency and enclosed specks and labelled with an ink jet. The different test modules (Minolta spectrophotometer, NeuroCheck vision control, Imaje printer) are united to form one machine.

The samples are collected in lots of aprox. 500 pieces. A couple of lots a day are processed.

Pictures of "bad" samples are stored (ordered by lot and number) to allow comparing later with the labelled samples. At the end of each lot a short Email or SMS is send to inform of the results.
